Administrative Coordinator – Base Administrator GTA Land Base
Position Title: Administrative Coordinator (Base-Level) – Base Administrator GTA Land Base

Department/Section: Base Management

Employment Status: Permanent Full Time

Targeted Salary Range: $51,843.75-$61,563.71

Work Mode: On-Site

Location: GTA Base, Boylen Road – travel to Peterborough as needed (see details)

Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week

Responsibilities

daily administrative support to base staff, fostering a safe, collaborative, and professional work workplace

Coordinate and manage administrative tasks including payroll activities and inventory tracking for medications, consumables, and equipment

Organize and schedule internal and external meetings (in-person and virtual), prepare agendas, and distribute meeting minutes

Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners to ensure operational updates and compliance

Support technical and operational processes to maintain efficiency and resource utilization

Promote Ornge’s mission and values through professional interactions and teamwork

Qualifications

Post‑secondary education in Business Administration, Office Administration, or a related field preferred





Minimum 2 years of experience in administrative coordination or operations support, ideally in healthcare, EMS, or a similar environment

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced setting

Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

Ability to prepare reports, correspondence, and meeting documentation with accuracy and attention to detail

Strong interpersonal skills, tact, and diplomacy when handling sensitive issues

Valid “G” Class Driver’s License with a satisfactory driver’s abstract
