Home Child Care Provider (NOC 44100)
Permanent, Full time assignment. Preferred start: As soon as possible.

Availability: Morning, Day, Evening shifts.

Work location: Employer’s or client’s home.

Transportation: Public transportation available.

Security and Safety: Criminal record check required.

Work conditions: Repetitive tasks in a non‑smoking environment.

Personal suitability: Reliability, initiative, organized, client focus, flexibility, judgment.

Responsibilities

Assume full responsibility for the household in the parents’ absence.

Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.

Wash, iron and press clothing and linens.

Bathe, dress and feed infants and children.





Discipline children according to parents’ requested methods.

Keep records of daily activities and health information.

Maintain a safe and healthy setting.

Organize activities such as games and outings.

Prepare and serve nutritious meals.

Supervise and care for children.

Tend to children’s emotional well‑being.

Cook meals for the household.

Required skills

Experience with infant and child care is an asset.

Ability to manage household responsibilities.

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Excellent communication and judgment skills.
