Responsibilities

Apply and promote safety standards for yourself and your colleagues.

Propose performance improvement projects.

Intervene and participate in the resolution of mechanical and electrical problems.

Assemble mechanical equipment.

Develop your knowledge by working on new equipment that is always at the cutting edge of technology.

Perform maintenance and repair of equipment.

Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions.

Repair and/or replace defective machinery parts.

Respond to emergency calls by providing technical support to production and other departments.

Participate in the implementation and start‑up of equipment.

Perform preventive maintenance.

Qualifications

Holds or is in the process of obtaining a degree related to electromechanics or industrial mechanics.

Solution‑oriented and likes to be in action.

Manages priorities and multiple tasks well.

Skilled in computerized technologies – touch screens and automated systems.

Takes initiative and perseveres in the face of different challenges.Can make decisions quickly.





Preferred Skills

Experience working in a comparable environment (salary according to experience).

Knowledge of French and/or English.

Compensation
Rate: $34.83 – $40.80 / hour (depending on experience).
