Up North Installations Ltd. is seeking a F/T Carpenter

Terms of employment: Full time, Permanent

Wage: $33.00~$38.00/hour (depending on experience)

Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

Number of Positions: 1

Work Location: 20454 77B Avenue, Langley, BC V2Y 4K3

10 days paid vacation per year

Extended Health Benefit after 3 months

Job Duties:

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate material requirements

Prepare layouts using measuring tools in accordance with building codes

Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems

Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood and wood substitutes

Fit and install trim items, such as doors,



stairs, mouldings, and kitchen cabinets

Provide maintenance, repairs, and renovations to residential wooden structures

Job requirements:

Experience: 2~3 years of experience in carpentry are required

Education: Completion of secondary school is required
