Job Overview
We are looking for Personal Trainers who are fitness and health enthusiasts, inspired to share their technical knowledge with clients in an effective, safe, and progressive style. They have a deep understanding of anatomy, physiology, and psychology, and possess strong communication skills that help them build rapport, prescribe effective health and training program solutions, and help members achieve their fitness goals. Evening availability is preferred.

Responsibilities

Confirm tomorrow’s sessions with clients (email, phone, text, etc.)

Prepare and design programs for new clients

Conduct demonstration sessions with prospective clients

Complete renewal documentation with clients

Review food journal, sleep habits, and progress (measurements) with clients

Conduct personal training sessions, ensuring proper technique, counting reps, and journaling all relevant data

Update and maintain accurate records in customer relations management software

You have technical knowledge: hold certification proving your knowledge of fitness training and nutrition.

You have communication superpowers: customer‑service skills, active listening, and speaking to help clients understand recommendations.

You’re motivated and driven: take initiative, identify opportunities, and act proactively to resolve issues.

Qualifications

Post‑secondary education related to the health and fitness industry.

Personal Training Certification.

Additional certification relating to fitness, health, and nutrition.

At least 1 year of experience in a personal training role (advantageous).

Experience in the health and fitness industry preferred.

CPR/First Aid certification (minimum Emergency First Aid and CPR, renewed annually).

Recent Criminal Background Check prior to commencement of training and/or work.
