Part time Elementary Teacher/Tutor
Position located at Oxford Learning Mississauga Meadowvale, Mississauga, Ontario.
Hours: Mon–Thu 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm; Saturday 9:00 am – 1:00 pm. Commitment through the end of the school year; optional summer extension. In‑person position requiring a commuter to the location. Vulnerable sector screening mandatory.
Responsibilities
Teach up to three students simultaneously at different levels.
Follow Oxford Learning’s methodologies and philosophies.
Fill in post‑lesson notes.
Complete daily student communication updates.
Maintain a friendly and professional manner at all times.
Qualifications
Education
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent certification in a relevant field.
Teaching certification an asset.
Good knowledge of the Kindergarten to Grade 8 curriculum.
Experience
Some experience teaching or tutoring students K‑8 (or equivalent).
Strong written and oral communication skills in English.
Ability to multitask and work with up to three students at once.
