Position Summary Little Readers Teacher/Tutor – part‑time role at Oxford Learning Kerrisdale, Vancouver, British Columbia. This position works 2–5 days per week, 3:30 pm – 6:30 pm during the school year, with optional Saturday mornings (9:00 am – 12:00 pm). It is an in‑person teaching role requiring a commute to the Kerrisdale location.
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent certification in a relevant field
University students with extensive tutoring experience will be considered
Teaching certification is an asset
Positive knowledge of the current Kindergarten‑to‑Grade 7 curriculum
Experience teaching or tutoring at Kindergarten‑to‑Grade 7 (or equivalent) level
Strong English written and oral communication skills and ability to guide students’ understanding
Ability to multitask and work with up to three students at a time
Responsibilities Teach up to three students simultaneously using proprietary materials for letter names, sounds,



phonics, reading, comprehension, vocabulary, writing, and fine‑motor skills.
Deliver lessons as an Interactive Coach following Oxford Learning methodologies.
Fill in post‑lesson notes and complete daily student communication updates.
Maintain a friendly and professional manner at all times.
