Fraser Health is seeking a Theatre Licensed Practical Nurse to enhance our surgical team. This role is ideal for those passionate about patient care in a rapid-paced operating room setting.

As a critical member of the surgical team, you'll assess, implement, and evaluate care for patients undergoing procedures. Your involvement includes performing scrub and circulating duties while ensuring effective communication between team members. Contributing to quality improvement discussions is a key aspect of this role.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive nursing care throughout surgical procedures
• Complete patient documentation and observation records
• Assist RNs in the operating room as required
• Support training for new nursing staff
• Attend meetings and report on patient care

Requirements:
• Graduation from a recognized Practical Nurse program and OR certification
• Active registration with the BCCNM
• Recent experience as a nurse in an acute care setting
• Basic cardiac life support training
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
