As a trusted advisor, you’ll use cutting‑edge technology to deliver a full suite of services, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bookkeeping, financial reporting and payroll administration.

Responsibilities

Supporting 15+ clients across multiple industries with full cycle bookkeeping and payroll functions

Adhere to tight deadlines by developing and maintaining relationships with clients and team members

Enter and reconcile GL accounts including cash, bank reconciliations, prepaid expenses, sales, expenses, accounts receivable, accounts payable, accrued liabilities and inter‑company accounts

Identify issues and errors, investigate discrepancies, discuss with supervisor or engagement partner to develop resolutions

Preparation and filing of GST and RST returns

Prepare and maintain payroll and related government remittances/fili­ngs and Workers’ Compensation Board (WCB)

Communicate with governments regarding information requests, assessments and installments

Skills And Experience

Certificate or diploma in business administration or accounting is considered an asset

3-5 years of full cycle bookkeeping experience

Experience working with cloud accounting software is expected

QBO Plus, QBO Advance, Xero and other application experience is considered an asset

Working knowledge of basic accounting principles and processes

Understanding of sales taxes (GST, PST, HST), payroll taxes and corporate tax

Experience working with desktop bookkeeping software is beneficial
