We’re looking for talented colleagues who are passionate about providing an exceptional shopping experience for our Pharmacy customers and delighting them every step of the way! This position reports to the Pharmacy Manager and is responsible for receiving, preparing and delivering prescriptions accurately and timely, managing inventory and counseling patients.
What you’ll do
Prepare, dispense and control medications accurately and timely to patients
Ensure medication and over‑the‑counter supplement inventory levels are adequate to meet patients’ needs
Counsel patients regarding new and additional medications in a friendly, positive and proactive interaction
Create awareness and educate customers through public relations (public health days, clinics, etc.)
Provide timely and positive resolution to patients’ needs and doctors’ requests/issues
Review and control costs at all levels within Loblaw Pharmacy (dispensary)
Provide on‑going training for all current and existing pharmacy colleagues (technicians, interns, students,
IPG’s)
Be responsible for receiving, preparing and delivering prescriptions and clinical services (within scope of practice) accurately and timely
Travel regularly and maintain a reliable means of transportation
Work in a variety of different pharmacies rather than a fixed location, unless otherwise indicated
What you’ll need
Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and a Class A Pharmacist’s license
Superior customer relations skills and a strong sense of professionalism
Excellent leadership and performance‑management skills
Proven ability to build business using community‑based marketing strategies
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Solid problem‑solving skills, including experience formulating and executing action plans
Strong personal computing skills and knowledge of Healthwatch and/or Kroll Pharmacy systems

Hiring Range: $44.00 – $60.60 per hour.
