THE OPPORTUNITY
We are currently hiring experienced Woodworking Machine Operators to join our team. The ideal candidates will have at least 5 years experience, preferably with wood processing. You are self‑motivated, disciplined and take ownership for your work. Details are important to you and you are organized and reliable.

This is a full‑time position reporting to the Shift Supervisor. We are located in Abbotsford, BC in the beautiful Fraser Valley, on the doorstep to numerous recreational activities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES MAY INCLUDE:

Set up, program, operate and maintain explored special‑purpose woodworking machines:

Finger‑jointer

4‑sided moulder

Dowel Laminated Panel drill and dowel pressing machine

Wood CNC machines

Read and interpret blueprints,



work orders of production schedules to determine product of job instructions and specifications

Monitor and control product quality

Identify, diagnose and rectify machined product defects

Load and remove completed work pieces or parts from machinery manually or with cranes

Make final product adjustments and prepare for shipping

REQUIRED:

Post‑secondary school education or at least 5 years of machine operation experience, preferably with wood processing (Timber Machining training is considered an asset).

Mechanically inclined/maintenance experience (timber machinist or millwright background preferred)

Flexibility, adaptability and a willingness to work any shift with possible overtime hours, which may include weekends.

Candidates must successfully pass a pre‑employment drug and alcohol test as a condition of employment.
