Heavy Equipment Field Service Technician
Location: Gormley, ON.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This permanent opportunity is ideal for a skilled technician with strong troubleshooting skills and experience servicing heavy equipment in a field-based environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform field repairs and servicing of heavy equipment at customer job sites
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues
Inspect equipment to identify faults, failures, and potential issues
Complete repairs, adjustments, and component replacements using hand and power tools
Perform preventative maintenance and routine servicing on construction equipment
Service attachments and related equipment components
Test repaired equipment to ensure proper operation and safety compliance
Complete service reports, work orders, and maintenance documentation accurately
Order parts and materials required to complete repairs efficiently
Maintain an organized service vehicle, tools, and equipment
Work collaboratively with service and operations teams to ensure timely repairs and support
Work outdoors in various weather conditions as required
REQUIREMENTS
2+ years of experience as a Field Service or Heavy Equipment Mechanic
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
Experience repairing construction equipment such as CAT, Genie, Skyjack, or similar equipment
Knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and equipment controls
Experience with diagnostic software (CAT ET/SIS considered an asset)
Valid G Class driver’s license with clean driving record
Strong communication skills with a customer-focused mindset
Ability to work independently with strong time management skills
Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs regularly
Willingness to work outdoors and travel to customer job sites
Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation
