Join the University of Alberta as a Contract Instructor for Structure and Bonding. This part time opportunity is based at Augustana Campus in Camrose for Fall Term 2026.

The Chemical and Physical Sciences program seeks a qualified sessional instructor to teach AUCHE 230, focusing on Structure and Bonding principles. The appointment lasts four months, starting September 1 and ending December 8, 2026, including an exam period. Preference will be given to current or former employees of the University of Alberta.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver lectures for AUCHE 230: Structure and Bonding
• Create and grade course-related materials
• Provide constructive feedback to students
• Engage with students through active learning methods
• Participate in departmental activities

Requirements:
• Advanced knowledge in chemistry
• Demonstrated teaching experience
• Ability to teach in-person at Augustana Campus
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• Preference for internal or former university employees
