THE ROLE IN A NUTSHELL
Base Salary: $22.50/hour

Reporting to the Vice President, Corporate Finance & Treasury the student will join the Finance team by providingsupport and assistance in modelling, acquisitions, cash flow management, capital management, financial analysis and forecasting initiatives. Thisposition provides excellent opportunities in learning and implementingfinancial and strategic concepts in a corporate setting and getting a broadunderstanding of the overall organization.

Responsibilities

Develop andpresent analysis to support Finance Team achievement of key deliverablesrelating to strategic and financial initiatives

Support theFinance Team achievement of significant Projects by performing projectmanagement activities and financial analysis

Support in thedevelopment of enhanced reporting for senior company leadership





Perform ad hocoff-cycle financial analysis on specific areas of the business

Support otherprojects related to GSC’s broader finance transformation initiative

Workcollaboratively with the broader Finance / Accounting Team

Working towardsa recognized Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in business (finance oraccounting specialization preferred)

Superioranalytical and problem solving skills.

Understandingof group benefits and insurance industry an asset

Advancedknowledge of Microsoft Office suite

Ability toprocess and manipulate large amounts of data

Excellentplanning, organizing, and time management skills with strong attention todetail
