The Role
The Mechanical Assembler is responsible for working in a manufacturing environment with a team of assemblers, insulators and other professional trades, assembling large and small components on a variety of projects.
Key Responsibilities
Complete mechanical assemblies by reviewing work instructions, blueprints, and hands‑on training support.
Install parts and subassemblies using templates or measurements.
Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and subassemblies.
Complete QA validations with assistance from team members.
Perform tasks involving physical labor; operate hand and power tools, wrenching and tightening bolts.
Maintain a safe and clean working workplace by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
What You Bring
Preference given to candidates with experience in a heavy industrial setting or previous experience doing assembly in a manufacturing environment.
Mechanically inclined with experience working with power tools (torque wrench, impact drills, grinders, etc.) and using overhead cranes.
Highly self‑motivated and career‑minded individuals will receive hands‑on training to further develop skills.
Brings leadership potential and a growth mindset.
Able to work independently.
Able to communicate effectively and solve problems with team members.
Tube bending experience an asset.
