Position Title: Forklift Operator - Cold Storage

Position Type: Regular - Full Time

Location: Florenceville-Bristol, New Brunswick, Canada

Overview
The Forklift Operator / Order Picker plays a critical role in supporting the Florenceville Distribution Center operations by safely and efficiently handling materials and fulfilling orders. This role ensures product integrity, maintains safety standards, and contributes to operational excellence through adherence to established processes and performance targets.

Responsibilities

Operate forklifts (including stand-up reach trucks) in a safe and defensive manner following “Info Link” guidelines.

Perform order picking and material handling tasks to meet operational targets.

Complete daily vehicle operator checklists to ensure equipment safety and reliability.

Maintain housekeeping standards and support 5S practices within the work area.

Follow forklift battery rotation procedures.

Communicate operational changes, issues, or updates with team members and supervision.

Complete required documentation, check sheets, and comply with standard work procedures.

Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and all safety protocols.

Support departmental KPIs by meeting productivity and quality targets.

Cross-train and perform various tasks across the department as required.

Qualifications

Grade 12 diploma or equivalent.

Forklift operator certification (or ability to obtain) for counterbalance and reach trucks.

Knowledge of safe lift truck operation and proper driving procedures.

Experience with WMS systems and forklift operations is an asset.

Ability to lift approximately 20 kg.

Strong attendance record and commitment to reliability.

Valuable written, oral, and basic math skills.

Self-motivated with strong observational skills and a positive attitude.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively with others.

Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts, weekends,



and adapt to changing schedules.

Willingness to cross-train and take on different tasks as needed.

About the Team
You will be part of the Florenceville Distribution Center team, working alongside forklift operators and warehouse associates in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment. The team collaborates closely to meet production and distribution goals while maintaining high standards of efficiency, safety, and product quality.

Compensation
Starting at 26.17 CAD hourly plus bonus eligibility and an hourly pay differential for applicable shifts.
