Cranbrook Water Conditioning Ltd. is seeking a skilled and customer-focused Hot Tub Technician to join our team in Cranbrook, BC. This is a full-time, permanent position supporting our Beachcomber Hot Tubs division.

We proudly serve the East Kootenay region and represent industry-leading brands including Beachcomber Hot Tubs, Culligan Water, and Flaman Fitness. Our team is committed to delivering high-quality products and exceptional service to our customers.

Position Overview
The Hot Tub Technician is responsible for the delivery, installation, maintenance, and repair of hot tubs and related equipment. This role requires strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills. The successful candidate will ensure customers receive protected, reliable, and professional service.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver and install Beachcomber hot tubs and related equipment

Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on hot tubs and spa systems

Troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, and mechanical components

Conduct water care consultations and provide product recommendations

Open and close hot tubs seasonally for residential and commercial customers

Ensure proper setup and operation of pumps, heaters, and filtration systems

Maintain accurate service records, work orders, and documentation

Educate customers on proper operation, maintenance, and water chemistry

Maintain cleanliness and organization of service vehicles and tools

Follow all safety protocols and company procedures





Support showroom operations and assist with deliveries when required

Other duties as required

Qualifications

Previous experience as a hot tub, pool, appliance, or service technician is an asset

Mechanical aptitude and strong troubleshooting skills

Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, and water chemistry is preferred

Strong customer service and communication skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record

Comfortable using tablets or mobile devices for service documentation

Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs regularly

Experience operating forklifts or delivery equipment is an asset

Willingness to participate in manufacturer training and certification programs
