We are seeking a motivated Registered Nurse with a dedication for delivering compassionate patient care to join our team at Wrinch Memorial Hospital.
In accordance with the established mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities of Northern Health, the Registered Nurse practices in accordance with the standards of professional practice and code of ethics as outlined by the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) within a patient and family centered care model.
Responsibilities
Works collaboratively with the interprofessional team.
Plans and provides direct patient care by assessing, planning, providing, and evaluating nursing care to clients with various complex health care issues, from non-urgent to life threatening, in the Emergency department.
Demonstrates a specialized body of knowledge and bases practice on nursing science and related content from other sciences and humanities.
Shift Rotation/Hours of work: Days, Nights, 07:00 to 19:00, 19:00 to 07:00 (rotating).

The communities that make up what is collectively known as the Upper Skeena are situated on the unceded traditional territory of the Gitxsan Nation. The Gitxsan people have lived on these lands for 10,000+ years and along with the Wet'suwet'en Nation to the east, established the precedent setting Delgamuukw court decision in 1997. Some of the communities included are Hazelton, New Hazelton, South Hazelton, Two Mile, Suskwa Valley, Miskinish (Cedarvale), Kitwanga Valley, Andimal, Kispiox Valley, and the 7 Indigenous villages of Gitanyow, Gitwangak, Gitsegukla, Hagwilget, Gitanmaax, Sik-e-dakh, and Anspayaxw. It holds a central place in health and wellbeing for many Indigenous and non-Indigenous people who live on these unceded lands.
