Shining Stars Support Services for Persons with Autism Spectrum Disorder Inc., est. 2016, is a Behavioural Health Service Provider providing center based and in-home therapy services to children and youth with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Shining Stars School, est. 2023, is a Ministry of Education non-inspected alternative school supporting children and youth with Autism Spectrum Disorder ages 4-11.
Role Description
Shining Stars Support Services is seeking an individual to fill a temporary part time position as a Speech-Language Pathologist with the Speech-Language department based out of the Mississauga site. The Speech-Language Pathologist is part of a team that supports our clients and supports the prevention, identification, assessment and treatment of speech, language and feeding challenges for our clients.
Qualifications
Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology.




One to two years of clinical experience working with children with special needs is an asset.
Completion of the AAC Foundations course preferred.
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
Strong clinical skills in AAC, developmental delays/disorders and parent/caregiver coaching.
Registration with the College of Audiologists and Speech Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO).
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team setting.
Must possess a valid Ontario driver’s license and have access to a personal vehicle.
Location:
- Mississauga site (1700 Mazo Crescent) and surrounding areas for in-home services
