Responsibilities
Perform automotive repairs and maintenance tasks on a variety of vehicles
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment
Conduct inspections and tests to identify vehicle problems and recommend appropriate solutions
Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems, such as engines, transmissions, brakes, and HVAC systems
Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements
Keep accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed on vehicles
Follow safety protocols and guidelines when working with heavy equipment and power tools
Qualifications:
Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic or similar role
Solid knowledge of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and HVAC systems
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment to identify vehicle issues
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and repair instructions
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a rapid-paced environment
Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with customers and colleagues
Skills:
Experience working in a dealership workplace is preferred
Familiarity with operating heavy equipment such as cranes or Caterpillar machinery is a plus
Ability to dig and excavate when necessary for certain repairs or maintenance tasks

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour
