Base pay range CA$40.00/hr - CA$40.00/hr
Our client is a leading company in the technology sector, known for their innovative solutions and dynamic work environment. They are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant – Fixed Assets to join their team for a 7-month contract.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform end to end accounting functions including AP, AR, journal entries to the GL, account and bank reconciliations, post accruals, and fixed assets accounting including managing depreciation and amortization schedules
Manage month end closing processes
Prepare financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, cashflow and P&L; statements
Assist with variance analysis, budgeting and forecasting
Provide supporting documents for audits

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting,



Finance or related field
Designation or CPA designation in process
3+ Years of experience in Accounting
Experience with Fixed Asset Accounting
SAP experience
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work well independently and collaboratively with a team
Solid analytical and problem solving skills
