Be part of the Vancouver Island Health Authority team as a Casual Administrative Health Unit Aide, supporting health services delivery across multiple sites. Engage in essential clerical work and conduct important screenings.

This versatile position will primarily be based at Port Hardy Health Centre, allowing you to contribute significantly to public health services. Responsibilities include managing schedules, maintaining supplies, and assisting with children's vision and hearing assessments in community settings.

Key Responsibilities:
• Support administrative operations within health units
• Conduct vision and hearing screenings for children
• Manage appointment bookings and client information




• Maintain inventories and supplies for health programs
• Work collaboratively with health professionals and community stakeholders

Requirements:
• High school graduation with medical office training
• A minimum of one year of relevant experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to establish rapport with children and parents
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology and office applications
