About The Opportunity
We’re looking for a dedicated Grounds and Maintenance Officer to help keep our Retirement Village running smoothly and looking its best. In this hands‑on role, you’ll complete general building maintenance, use equipment like ride‑on movers and tractors and manage the upkeep of our beautifully landscaped garden areas, ensuring a safe, welcoming, and well‑presented setting for residents, visitors, and staff alike.

Your Day‑to‑day Will Involve

Perform general repairs, preventative maintenance, and organise contractors when needed

Care for lawns, gardens, paths, and outdoor areas to a high standard

Carry out routine tasks like rubbish removal, gutter cleaning, watering, pruning, and planting

Maintain tools and ensure safe handling of equipment and chemicals

Keep accurate maintenance records, support regulatory compliance,



and uphold safety procedures

Assist with stock control and basic admin such as processing invoices and keeping registers updated

Work as part of a friendly, multidisciplinary team that values cooperation and respect

About You

Demonstrated experience in general gardening and maintenance

Knowledge of Workplace Health & Safety Standards and requirements relevant to grounds and maintenance work

Knowledge of and experience in gardening and groundskeeping

Ability to use power garden tools and a ride-on mower

Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
