Mental Health Technician Prime Pool Position Details

Facility: Behavioral Health Center

Location: Tampa, FL

Status: Pool, Hourly

Shift Hours: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM

Weekend Work: Every Other

On Call: No

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care to psychiatric inpatients under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Provide ongoing monitoring and observation of patients to ensure safety and wellbeing.

Promote communication and therapeutic relationships with patients.

Assist with physical care under the direction of an RN.

Requirements

BLS (Basic Life Support)

High School or Equivalent

FL Driver's License

Preferred Skills

Associate's in Healthcare/Psychology

CNA/PCT

Preferred Experience

6 months – Psychology based experience

This position requires Level II screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse, managed by the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA). More information can be found at https://info.flclearinghouse.com.
