This full-time role is dedicated to improving mental health outcomes for refugees through comprehensive support services. As a Mental Health Services Manager, you will oversee clinical staff, manage partnerships, and ensure that services are accessible and culturally appropriate. You will play a crucial role in enhancing VAST’s service delivery protocols and community engagement efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage recruitment and supervision of clinical personnel
• Oversee the provincial mental health service coordination
• Ensure compliance with clinical process and documentation
• Conduct psycho-legal assessments for refugee support
• Build relationships with advocacy groups and partners
Requirements:
• Advanced degree in social work or related field
• Proven knowledge of mental health best practices
• Experienced in team management and communication
• Solid ability to foster professional relationships
• Insight into refugee issues is a plus
