Shipping & Logistics Coordinator (Traffic Clerk)
Schedule: Sunday – Thursday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Compensation: $25.00/hour
Employment Type: Full-Time
About the Opportunity
We're looking for a detail-oriented Shipping & Logistics Coordinator (Traffic Clerk) to join our warehouse operations team. This role is responsible for coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, preparing shipping documentation, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring the smooth flow of goods through our distribution operation.
This is an excellent prospect for someone with experience in logistics, transportation, warehouse operations, or shipping coordination who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Coordinate and monitor inbound and outbound shipments to ensure on-time delivery.
Schedule carrier pickups and deliveries while maintaining shipment accuracy.
Prepare and verify Bills of Lading, delivery receipts, shipping documents, and related paperwork.
Track shipments and resolve transportation or delivery issues in a timely manner.
Maintain accurate shipping, inventory, and transportation records.
Communicate effectively with warehouse staff, drivers, carriers, and internal departments to ensure efficient operations.
Utilize logistics and warehouse management systems such as Produce Pro, iTrade, SAP, TMS, WMS , or similar software.
Monitor shipment discrepancies and assist in resolving inventory or freight issues.
Ensure compliance with transportation regulations, company procedures, and safety standards.
Support other warehouse administrative functions and assist team members as needed.
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of experience in a Traffic Clerk, Shipping Coordinator, Logistics Coordinator, Transportation Coordinator, Shipping & Receiving, or similar role.
Experience working in a warehouse, distribution centre, transportation, logistics, or manufacturing environment.
Experience preparing shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading (BOLs).
Strong computer skills and experience with warehouse or transportation management systems (Produce Pro, iTrade, SAP, TMS, WMS, or similar).
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
