Opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to fill a full-time Infant-Toddler Educator role at Summit Community Services Society. Engage in developmental activities designed for children aged 0-3 years, fostering their growth in a nurturing setting.
As an Early Childhood Educator, you will lead creative activities while complying with IH regulations and the BC Early Learning Framework. Your role involves working closely with co-educators and families, ensuring a positive, organized learning setting. You'll also be responsible for daily cleaning and maintaining the guidelines set forth in confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and execute appropriate developmental activities for young children
• Collaborate with other educators and maintain team communication
• Uphold licensing regulations and ensure child safety
• Create and maintain a welcoming, organized environment
• Perform regular cleaning and sanitizing tasks
Requirements:
• ECE/IT Certification and First Aid Certification required
• Criminal Record Check needed for employment
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent leadership and communication abilities
• Caring attitude sensitive to cultural diversity
