Lansdowne Centre is hiring a full time Life Skills Outreach Worker in Kamloops, B.C., focusing on youth experiencing mental health and substance use issues. Bring your compassion and resilience to this important position.

As part of the Youth Intensive Case Management (YICM) team, you will work with young individuals facing significant challenges. Your expertise will aid in delivering rehabilitative services and support while navigating community resources. Strong skills in crisis intervention and psychosocial rehabilitation are essential for successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
• Engage with youth to provide life skills mentorship
• Coordinate care with community partners and families
• Assess risks and implement harm reduction strategies




• Maintain documentation of client care effectively
• Build supportive and client-centered relationships

Requirements:
• Certification in Mental Health or related fields required
• A minimum of two years in a similar role
• Food Safe Level 1 and Basic First Aid Certificates
• Training in non-violent crisis intervention needed
• Valid B.C. Driver’s License (Class 5)
