Industrial Painter
We are currently recruiting for an Industrial Painter to work out of our Fabrication Shop. This role will report into the Coating Manager.

Compensation & Benefits

$35 - $45 per hour based on experience

Overtime after 8 hours per day

10% vacation and statutory pay on all regular hours worked

Responsibilities and Duties

8 to 12 hours per day, work on weekends as required.

Blasting a variety of surfaces including pipe, structural, and equipment.

The safe operation and maintenance of equipment while adhering to the company’s Safe Work Practices and PPE guidelines.

Coating application of piping, structural, and equipment utilizing brush and roll, conventional, airless, plural component spray methods.

Qualifications / Desired Skills

Journeyman Painter ticket considered an asset.

Plural pump & spray experience required. Airless & conventional spray experience asset.

Facility sandblasting experience required.





Minimum of 3 years experience working as an industrial painter.

Possess a basic understanding of mobile blasting equipment, application equipment for above and below grade coating systems.

Previous blasting and spray application experience.

Must be able to speak and read English.

Must be able to work with a high PSI hose. No cabinet blasters.

Experience with epoxies, urethanes, and grouts.

Has reliable transportation.

Must have a class 5 driver’s license with a good driving abstract.

May be required to pass a drug and alcohol test for certain project based work.

Prefer applicants to have Denso, SPC, Stopaq, and NACE/AMPP Level 2 coating tickets.

Extra consideration given to those that have the following tickets: PCST, Defensive Driving, LSE, Fall Protection, H2S Alive, Confined Space.
