What You’ll Be Contributing Promote and follow all plant safety guidelines.
Main point of contact for customer base including order taking, tracking and inquiries.
Responsible for accurate order and billing data entry.
Facilitates communication and resolution of customer issues.
Dispatch and coordination of customer orders with carriers’ dispatchers.
Multi-task across various activities and manage daily scheduled deliveries.
Create bills of lading for all truck deliveries loaded at our facilities.
Interact with and direct delivery drivers for truck loading and billing.
Create customs documents for US-bound shipments.
Support other team members to complete daily transactions.
Create billing for rail car transactions.
Participate in carrier and logistics safety programs.
Participate in other projects and tasks as assigned.
Additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
To Succeed In This Position, You Will Need Minimum of a High School Diploma.
Customer service experience is an asset.
Knowledgeable with various computer systems.
Microsoft Excel experience preferred.
Ability to read, write, and understand warning labels, instructions, signs, etc.
Excellent customer service skills.
Strong ability to multi-task.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Must possess excellent communications skills, both verbal and written.
Demonstrates leadership and the ability to take ownership of tasks and make decisions; takes initiative and is self-motivated.
Must be able to work within a team environment and interact with a variety of people in all plant departments.
Good problem solving abilities.
Physical Requirements Able to lift small objects frequently, weighing up to 20 lbs.
This position is sedentary in nature but may require periods of standing and walking.
Work Setting This position is office-based and indoors and climate controlled.
Additional Information Compensation: $47,500 - $52,500
