Proline Pipe Equipment Inc. is a local company in Southeast Edmonton. We manufacture, rent and sell quality equipment and supplies to the pipeline construction industry. We are looking for a permanent Shipper. Hours of work will be Monday to Friday, with opening and closing shift rotations.

Responsibilities:

· Pick items and prepare orders efficiently

· Loading trucks including prepping bill of lading, calling transport companies and confirming weights & dimensions

· Participate in cycle counts and annual inventory counts

· Some data entry required

· Able to communicate effectively both verbally and written

· Keep warehouse and yard tidy and organized

· Greeting and assisting customer walk-ins and transport drivers

· Assist in other areas/ other duties as assigned

Requirements:

· Maintain high level of accuracy in counting and confirming serial numbers

· Demonstrate secure practices regarding equipment operation

· Forklift operation is mandatory to complete tasks





· Highly organized

· Build and maintain positive customer and fellow employee relationships

· Demonstrate effective teamwork and communication skills with co-workers and management

· High school diploma or GED equivalent

· Ability to speak, write and read English is required.

· Previous work experience is an asset
