We are currently seeking and have an immediate opening for a qualified and motivated individual to fill the position of Technical Sales Representative - Machine Tools based out of Calgary, AB.

This role involves establishing, building, and maintaining strong customer relationships - driving growth by identifying and developing new sales prospects for machine tools, while providing technical expertise and tailored solutions to customers. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, technically knowledgeable sales professional with robust communication skills and a passion for delivering value in a customer-focused, travel-driven setting.

Responsibilities:
Provide technical knowledge of machine tools to manufacturing end users
Developing new machine tool sales prospects
Promoting all machine tool product lines
Build strong and lasting customer relationships
Expand and optimize market sales
Effectively meet and/or exceed sales targets




Frequent travel to customer sites throughout Alberta to provide technical service, define problems and provide solutions to the end user
Maintain CRM contacts and opportunities

Qualifications:
In-depth knowledge of CNC and conventional equipment gained through experience and/or education is a must
Must be outgoing and persuasive
Must have experience in business development
Must be proactive, self-motivated, and a professional self-starter
Must be computer literate, especially with Microsoft Office suite of products
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required
Frequent travel to customer sites throughout Western provinces is required
CNC programming experience would be an asset
Post-Secondary education would be an asset
