ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We are currently seeking an experienced full-time candidate for a Payroll Administrator role in our downtown Calgary location. This position is full time, Monday to Friday and will include the following duties:
Process full-cycle payroll for employees in Canada and the United States, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely payroll delivery.
Administer payroll-related benefits, retirement savings programs, and Workers' Compensation reporting.
Maintain compliance with Canadian and U.S. payroll legislation, tax regulations, and year-end reporting requirements.
Support employees and managers with payroll, perks, and payroll policy inquiries.
Prepare payroll reconciliations, journal entries, and reports while supporting month-end and year-end processes.
Participate in payroll system maintenance, process improvements, and cross-functional support with HR and Accounting.

ABOUT YOU

Required Skills & Qualifications to succeed in this role include:




A minimum of 5 years payroll experience in Canada and the US
Experience with Dayforce, FieldCap or NetSuite would be beneficial
Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
Skilled in data entry, reconciliation, and reporting
Clear and professional communication—both written and verbal
Discreet and trustworthy with handling confidential information
Self-motivated and proactive with the ability to work independently
Solutions-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
Customer-focused mindset and a cooperative approach to working with internal teams
Relevant work experience in oil & gas services, experience with electronic ticketing system would be an asset.
