Responsibilities
Safely operate school buses along designated routes, adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations at all times
Ensure the safety and well-being of students during pickup, transit, and drop-off procedures
Maintain a friendly, approachable demeanor to foster a welcoming workplace for students of all ages
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify the bus’s mechanical condition and report any issues promptly
Communicate effectively with school staff, parents,



and emergency responders when necessary
Assist students with boarding and exiting the bus, especially those requiring additional support such as senior care or multilingual assistance
Keep accurate records of routes, student counts, incidents, and maintenance reports

Qualifications
Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with passenger endorsement required (E or B license)
Experience working with children or in educational settings preferred
Strong communication skills to interact clearly with students, parents, and school personnel
Mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle inspections and troubleshoot minor issues
Customer service orientation with a caring attitude towards students’ safety and comfort
Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining focus on safety standards

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
