Adecco is currently hiring a full‑time Journeyperson Electrician (Automation) for our client in NE Calgary, AB. We are looking for a skilled and safety‑focused maintenance professional with strong experience in automation, electrical systems, and mechanical troubleshooting.

This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed electrician who enjoys working with automated equipment, solving complex technical issues, and contributing to the reliability and performance of a quick‑paced operation.

- Pay Rate: $38.00 - $43.00/hour (based on experience)

- Location: NE Calgary, AB

- Shift: Night Shift | Sunday to Thursday | 10:30 PM to 6:30 AM

- Job type: Temporary to Permanent|Full-time

Responsibilities

- Maintain and repair automated equipment and systems

- Perform preventative maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and performance

- Support machine installations, upgrades, and modifications

- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues

- Monitor equipment performance and implement solutions to minimize downtime





- Collaborate with the maintenance team to resolve equipment and operational issues

- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and system performance

Qualifications and Skills

- Journeyperson Electrician Certificate (or equivalent certification) required

- Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience, ideally automation

- Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills

- Experience working with PLCs, motors, drives, conveyors, gearboxes, belts, and bearings

- Ability to read and edit electrical and mechanical drawings

- Experience with SSI automation systems is considered an asset

- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

- Valid driver's licence required

- Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
