In the role of Community Harm Reduction Worker, you will be part of a energetic team at WAHA, committed to improving health outcomes in Indigenous communities. This full-time permanent position emphasizes outreach to individuals facing substance use issues, while advocating for harm reduction initiatives. You will play a key role in distribution, education, and fostering trust within the communities you serve.

Key Responsibilities:
• Connect with individuals in public spaces and homes
• Raise awareness of wellness and harm reduction services




• Distribute necessary harm reduction supplies
• Educate communities on overdose prevention strategies
• Collaborate with individuals in program development

Requirements:
• Successful completion of secondary education
• Relevant degree or diploma in health services
• Must hold a G Driver's License
• Prepared to travel for community outreach
• Knowledge of the Cree language is advantageous
