Kaplan International Pathways Canada is searching for a casual University Engineering Tutor. Help international students in the Year One Foundation Program at the University of Alberta excel in foundational engineering subjects.

As a tutor, your focus will be on delivering personalized support in small groups or one-on-one settings. You will enhance students' understanding of complex concepts in subjects like mathematics, physics, and programming while developing their problem-solving capabilities. Collaboration with the Kaplan team will be key to tracking student progress.

Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate tutoring sessions focused on engineering subjects
• Guide students in applying theoretical concepts practically
• Aid in understanding assignments, quizzes, and exam materials




• Collaborate with the Student Success team for academic tracking
• Promote a supportive learning atmosphere that builds confidence

Requirements:
• Currently pursuing or completed an Engineering degree
• Solid foundation in university-level mathematics and physics
• Prior experience in teaching or tutoring is advantageous
• Solid interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to manage time effectively and work independently
