Responsibilities
Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and comfort
Provide companionship and emotional support to foster a welcoming setting
Perform light cleaning duties to maintain a safe, hygienic living space for residents
Observe and report any changes in residents’ health or behavior to nursing staff or supervisors promptly
Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs)
and coordinate with healthcare professionals as needed
Skills
Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or senior care environments is highly valued
Experience working with individuals with disabilities or dementia care needs is preferred
Solid caregiving skills combined with patience, compassion, and active listening abilities
Ability to perform light cleaning tasks and meal preparation efficiently
Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and residents
