Join our dedicated team as a Part time Occupational Therapist I based in Taber. This position emphasizes patient-centered therapy across diverse care environments, enhancing the quality of life for clients. You will work in various settings, including hospitals and senior lodges, focusing on collaborative care to improve clients' independence and functionality. Essential skills include the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders, as well as solid time management skills.
Experience in supervising therapy assistants and providing tele-rehab services is also beneficial. Key Responsibilities:
Deliver assessments, consultations, and treatment plans
Engage with families to ensure comprehensive care
Monitor progress and adjust therapy goals accordingly
Lead quality improvement projects as part of the healthcare team
Provide mentorship to students or recent therapists Requirements:
Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
Active registration with the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists
Proficient in effective communication and consultation
Experience with tele-rehabilitation techniques preferred
