We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Sushi Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. Duties
Prepare a variety of sushi, sashimi, and other Japanese dishes with precision and artistry
Follow established recipes and presentation standards to ensure consistency and quality
Handle all aspects of food preparation, including slicing fish, assembling rolls, and garnishing plates
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sushi station in compliance with food safety regulations
Assist in inventory management by monitoring ingredients and notifying management of supply needs
Ensure proper food handling techniques are followed at all times to prevent cross-contamination




Support the team during busy service hours by efficiently managing multiple orders while maintaining quality

Skills
Proven experience in food preparation, especially in sushi or Japanese cuisine
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures
Excellent skills in serving customers with professionalism and positive attitude
Ability to work quickly and accurately in a quick-paced restaurant environment
Familiarity with kitchen equipment used for sushi preparation such as knives, rice cookers, and refrigeration units
Experience in meal preparation, cooking techniques, and food industry best practices
Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and management
