The Kidney Clinic and Renal Transplant PAA is an integral member of the renal program team.
Summary of Duties
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Collaborate closely with our pretransplant Nurse Clinicians, Data Manager, Renal Medical Director, Home Dialysis Medical Director and Home Dialysis/Kidney Care Clinic Patient Care Manager.
Work autonomously to complete tasks that require their input and or management.
Work collaboratively with other transplant centres to help process and navigate our patients requiring transplant work up and support.
Coordinate testing schedule, in collaboration with the patient and provides the patient with complete listing of tests.
Prepare and send patient samples to different health care labs and destinations.
Organize and submit data in collaboration with the Data Manager to the Ontario Renal Network / Ontario Health.
Coordinating/manage outpatient clinics within the Nephrology Program and maintenance of patient records and statistics.
Qualifications/Skills
At least two years of Administrative experience within Nephrology required.
