Job Summary
Reporting to the Branch Manager, the Pest Technician conducts thorough inspections for various businesses, including residential homes, identifies pest problems, chooses effective eradication methods, and recommends prevention measures. The role also requires building new business through sales.
Responsibilities
Provide guidance for the best extermination processes for identified infestations, including pesticide use, mechanical traps, blockages, and other pest control methods.
Establish contact with potential customers to create recent business opportunities.
Follow safety procedures and product instructions when using fumigants, pesticides, and power spraying equipment, wearing protective gear.
Manage schedule and routes to ensure services are completed in a timely manner.
Address customer needs and optimize their pest control program on-site.

Base salary: $46,700 with incentive bonus and commission on top of base salary.
Requirements
Driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Customer service experience.
Willingness to obtain your Applicator’s license.
Sales experience an asset.
Preferred candidates will have experience in route sales, route service, field sales, field service, service technician, territory representative, restaurant management, hospitality, or construction.
