Take on the rewarding role of Registered Nurse with Canadian Blood Services in Vancouver. Assist in blood donation and ensure a positive donor experience while adhering to safety and documentation protocols.

In this temporary part time position within the Collections team, you'll handle donor interactions, perform venipuncture, and educate patrons about blood donations. Flexibility in scheduling is required as shifts can include evenings and weekends at both fixed and mobile donor locations in Vancouver.

Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate donor registration and screening processes
• Execute safe venipuncture and post-donation care
• Keep precise records in multiple data systems
• Train and lead donor centre staff during operations
• Prepare donor clinic setups for mobile events

Requirements:
• Active Registered Nurse license in good standing
• At least 2 years of nursing work experience preferred
• First Aid and CPR certification advantageous
• Strong interpersonal and technical skills needed
• Multilingual skills enhance donor communication
