Job Overview

Preparing an assortment of baked goods and sweets for our cafe and catering clients. Dessert squares, cookies, muffins, scones, simple cakes and other goodies! Keeping track of inventory, supplies and putting together & filling orders.

Responsibilities
Prepare and assemble baked goods, ensuring quality and presentation meet high standards
Assist with food preparation tasks such as mixing, frosting, and packaging baked items
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and work areas in compliance with food safety standards
Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed at all times to guarantee safety and freshness
Support the team during busy periods by managing multiple tasks including packaging, stocking, and cleaning

Qualifications
Previous experience in baking is highly preferred
Restaurant or food industry experience is a robust asset, demonstrating familiarity with fast-paced settings




Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking, and baking processes
Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and effective communication abilities
Understanding of food safety protocols and proper food handling practices
Kitchen experience that includes food packaging, cleaning, and maintaining hygiene standards
Ability to work part time hours with flexibility to accommodate peak times and special events

We value energetic individuals who are passionate about food, eager to learn, and dedicated to creating quality products in a supportive team environment. Shifts are mainly on weekdays with the odd weekend shift required.

Pay: $17.00-$18.00 per hour
