Skilled Labourer

:

Installation of commercial windows and doors. Assist lead with all tasks to complete the installation process.

Primary Responsibilities:
Read blueprints, shop drawings or work order specifications to determine layout and installation procedures
Measure and mark guidelines to be used for installations
Install doors and windows using hand and power tools
Glazing
Finish carpentry – a definite asset
Prepare and clean up the work area as necessary
Follow all health and safety procedures as necessary
Must be able to work unsupervised
Other duties as required

Qualifications:
Must currently reside in Canada
Strong customer service skills are a must
Ability to think rapid on your feet and confidently problem solve on the job site
Experience installing windows and doors is an asset




Experience with commercial aluminum system an asset
Able to work independently and/or with a team
Reliable, independent and organized
Valid Driver’s License
Fall arrest training or aerial lift truck knowledge is a strong asset.
Excellent communication skills (phone, email, reports)
Attention to detail and respectful to company property/possessions
Adaptable to perform service jobs when required
Able to read, understand and perform site measurements
Blueprint reading
Follow detailed instructions efficiently and effectively
Willing to travel

Job Type: Full time Salary/wage ranges based on your level of experience.

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
