We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will support pharmacists in dispensing medications, managing patient interactions, and maintaining pharmacy operations. Responsibilities
Assist pharmacists with preparing and dispensing prescriptions accurately and efficiently
Manage inventory, including restocking medications and verifying stock levels
Provide excellent patient care by answering questions and offering guidance under supervision
Handle administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and processing insurance claims
Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy workplace following safety protocols




Support medication administration processes as directed by licensed specialists
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, including proper storage of pharmaceuticals

Skills
Prior experience in hospital or pharmacy technician roles preferred
Robust knowledge of medical terminology and medication management processes
Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy in prescription processing
Compassionate patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively
Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team
Organizational skills to manage inventory and administrative duties efficiently
Basic computer proficiency for data entry and record keeping
