Your role is vital in helping families at risk of losing stability and connection. You’ll offer emotional and practical guidance, assist with parenting skills, and facilitate access to needed resources. Each day will present unique challenges that call for your compassion and skills in fostering growth and independence among participants.
Key Responsibilities:
• Establish strong, trusting relationships with families
• Offer pre-natal and post-natal support as needed
• Assist in health and wellness planning and education
• Manage household tasks and ensure a safe environment
• Coordinate with community services for family goals
Requirements:
• Diploma in relevant social care fields required
• Experience in supporting mothers and children
• Criminal Record Check and caregiver clearance needed
• Strong de-escalation and problem-solving skills
• Ability to maintain flexibility in task management
