A large apartment complex in the Bonnie Doon area is seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Assistant / Labourer to join our maintenance team. We require someone who genuinely possesses the practical skills listed below and can work independently with confidence.

Responsibilities Include
Suite preparation and turnover
General carpentry and repairs
Deck and step building/repair
Basic plumbing
Minor electrical work
Interior and exterior painting
Suite demolition (including carpet tear-outs)
Snow removal
General labour as required
Mandatory Emergency On-Call component

A robust working knowledge of hand tools and power tools, with strict attention to safety, is essential.

Physical Requirements

This is a physically demanding position involving:
Frequent lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs (more with assistance)
Extensive walking, standing, bending, twisting, and reaching

Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.




Mandatory rotating overnight emergency on-call component

(Must be able to answer on-call phone and attend site if required. Additional compensation will be discussed at interview.)

Requirements
Proven experience in property maintenance, construction, or related trade
Valid driver’s license
Reliable personal vehicle
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong work ethic and reliability

Pay: $24.00-$25.00 per hour
