Job Title: Python Developer - AI

Location: Mississauga, ON

6 months contract to hire

3 days onsite per week

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related STEM field.
8+ years of software engineering experience with at least 5+ years developing enterprise Python solutions.
Robust hands-on expertise in Python, FastAPI, Flask, REST APIs, and microservices development.
Experience designing distributed, event-driven systems and asynchronous architectures.
Experience building enterprise integration solutions using Kafka, MQ, Event Hubs, or similar messaging technologies.
Experience with Agentic AI architectures, AI orchestration frameworks, MCP, and LLM-enabled applications.
Strong understanding of software architecture, system design, scalability, resiliency, and security principles.




Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps practices.
Experience working with Linux, shell scripting, containers, and cloud-native settings.
Solid stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.

Preferred Skills:
Experience with GenAI, LLM platforms, RAG architectures, AI agents, and prompt orchestration.
Familiarity with AI governance, model risk management, controls, and auditability frameworks.
Experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker, and cloud platforms.
Banking, risk management, regulatory, or financial services experience.
Knowledge of capital markets and financial products.
