We're partnering with a well-established Canadian engineering company that's strengthening its Ontario engineering team. This is an prospect to become the senior technical authority for the engineering group while helping shape engineering standards, mentor experienced engineers, and influence the future direction of the department.

For the right person, there's a clear path into an Engineering Team Lead or Engineering Manager role within approximately 6 to 12 months.

What You'll Be Doing
Lead complex electrical engineering projects from concept through implementation.
Serve as the senior technical authority for electrical engineering design and technical decision-making.
Design and review MCCs, VFDs, switchgear,



power conversion equipment, and automation systems.
Drive engineering excellence through DFM, DFX, product lifecycle management, and engineering best practices.
Mentor engineers while helping strengthen the Ontario engineering team.
Collaborate with Engineering, Sales, Production, Supply Chain, and Customer Solutions.

About You
Ontario P.Eng. designation (required).
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electrical Engineering, Automation & Controls, or a related discipline.
10+ years of experience involving industrial automation, VFDs, MCCs, switchgear, motor control systems, or power electronics.
Experience with Allen-Bradley, Siemens PLCs, AutoCAD Electrical, and EPLAN.
Strong technical leadership and mentoring skills.
